I don't know about you, but when I attend events, I find myself making mental notes of things that they did well that I really like.
Just this last weekend I went to a festival downtown, and instead of your usual food trucks, they invited local nonprofits and small restaurant owners to have food tents at the event. The tents featured foods from around the world, but not your typical places. For example, they had Sudanese, Lebanese, Cambodian, Colombian, and Basque food tents.
I really liked that they had food there that you wouldn't normally find around town. It made it fun try something new and personally, I wouldn't even know where to go around Salt Lake to find a Sudanese restaurant.
What are some things you have learned recently from attending events that you would want to apply to your event?
What did they do right that could be easy to implement at your event?
